Chris Daniels
Actor - SAG/AFTRA
Biography
Chris Paradice Daniels began his acting debut on the stage in the production "The Peacock Men." Written by Ronald McCants & Directed by Ayana Cahrr. He went to the open audition with no experience & not knowing what to expect. When the award winning directer Ayana Cahrr asked Chris to move stage left he went the wrong way and vice versa. Cahrr knew right away she was dealing with raw talent. Once she directed him to move center stage he found the light. Ayana & Lee Sherman (producer) found something special in him the moment he began to audition. Cahrr quoted, "You inspire me to want to act again, never stop what your doing." With rehearsal and promotion already underway Ayana and Lee knew they needed to find a quick replacement for the lead role "Cash" who quit the play 2 weeks into production. Trusting her gut they decided to call back Chris P. Daniels and he booked the job. The Peacock Men received a 5 star review. "Terrifically talented ensemble" Bill Raiden LA Weekly. The Peacock Men was considered for the 2012 NAACP Theatre Award Nominations.
Before & during production Daniels was auditioning for a series regular with Pam Gilles (Bonnie & Clyde), co-star in the feature film "The Gardener" Middleton Casting (Twilight Saga: New Moon, Donnie Darko), Warner Brothers hit show, Southland and a countless amount of independent films.
After failing at almost every audition Chris decided to take a step back and study the craft more. Finally choosing NewCollectiveLA as a stepping stone because of it's access to unlimited classes 6 days a week. After enrolling Daniels practically moved into the studio studying intensively on avg. 5 days and 30+ hours a week. Chris states, "NewCollectiveLA was my home I lived there, Greg Braun taught me amazing things." After about 6 months of intensivly training Chris started going into auditions with a better understanding and more experience.
Chris Paradice Daniels has now landed roles in numerous productions and stage plays at Pomona College & Antelope Valley College.
